Aura Internet Services
Introduction
I started my placement at Aura internet services in the first week of August. Aura Internet services in a web design company based in Lisdoonan just outside Carrickmacross Co. Monaghan, it’s a short commute from my home so this placement is ideal for me.
I started off doing small jobs to begin with i.e. resizing images but as time has gone on and I've gained more experience, I’ve started to have more responsibility i.e. dealing with costumers and being heavily involved with website design and construction.
1.1 History and Development of the Company
Aura Internet services recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, the two founders of the company are Breda McGuigan and Claire Cunningham and both have numerous qualifications in web design and business management.
Both Breda and Claire are directors of the company and designers, with myself being the other designer. We also have a php specialist and another member of staff that looks after the accounts, invoices etc. So there are currently five people employed at the company.
